First Call Farm is dedicated to superior care for our boarder's horses and those in training. We are a small barn. While we relish our quiet "AT HOME" atmosphere; our owner has shown horses and coached riders from the local level to the country's most prestigious "AA" Hunter, Equitation & Jumper Shows.

Boarding sound, healthy, happy horses is our motto. At First Call Farm, we provide a safe, clean and fresh environment where you'll find horses relaxed and content. We provide Training adapted to the individual, where every horse and rider receive professional attention to detail and technique. Our Sales experience qualifies us to help our customers find the right horse or pony. We keep green and made sales prospects in training on the farm & available for  sale or lease. We attend NCHJA "C"  and USEF "AA" recognized Shows each month. Where we show is geared to the aspirations and abilities of our  customers. On weekends when we aren't showing, we go trail riding together, schedule 'schooling days' at area cross-country courses, attend hunter pace competitions  or take long rides in the mountain state parks of North Carolina.         See photo galleries at   Weekend News  and  First Call Family.   

 Amenities of First Call Farm

• well-ventilated, rubber-matted, heavily bedded stalls

• grain two to three times daily, unlimited hay always

• owner-supplied supplements given at no extra charge

• exceptional footing in the lighted arena (sand+rubber)

• full courses for training hunters, equitation or jumpers

• Minimum 8 hrs. private or small group turn-out for  every horse, weather permitting

• cross-ties for each boarder's horse

• separate boarder's tack room

• two wash racks with hot water for winter

• fly control systems implemented in season

Owner-Trainer A.C. Jones,  a 30 yr. veteran trainer of Hunters, Hunter Seat Equitation & Jumpers.  Having competed in the AHSA Medal Finals in 1974, A.C. aspires to that create level of excellence from the intrinsic talents of all of her students.   For history & biography go to AC Jones
